We are presenting this beautiful painting by

JOHANNES SIVERTSEN

This year, we present Start Collecting with CHART is a curated exhibition featuring works by established and emerging artists from across the Nordics. This year, the exhibition takes place in The Chapel at Charlottenborg, presented in collaboration with the galleries at the art fair.

All of the works in the exhibition are priced at a maximum of 20.000 DKK / 2700 EUR. We hope that by building transparency and presenting stand-out works within a specific price range, that we can expand the dialogue around collecting art and encourage more people to start.

JAKOB HUNOSØE is represented as Fotografisk Center in Copenhagen opens its 30th anniversary exhibition "30th Anniversary: A Centre for Photography " with works by 12 Danish and Nordic artists. The exhibition is on view from 28 August – 8 November 2026.

The opening takes place on Thursday 27 August from 4-7pm

On now in SPECTA is "Peroral", a new solo exhibition by South African artist Frances Goodman, bringing together a series of hand-quilted works and glazed ceramics that explore desire, consumption, and the language of contemporary digital communication.

The exhibition takes its title from the medical term peroral, meaning administered or taken through the mouth. The mouth becomes a point of departure for considering both physical consumption and contemporary forms of communication. In the digital vernacular of texting and social media, food has acquired an unmistakably erotic vocabulary: the peach, banana, eggplant, and other everyday images can function as coded references to bodies, s*x, and desire. Goodman plays with this slippage between the innocent and the suggestive, transforming familiar foodstuffs into objects that are humorous, sensual, and at times slightly uncanny.

The exhibition runs through September 28.
