The story began after the men lost their great battle. Then, they were besieged by the victors and surrendered to the siege along with ignorance and poverty, leaving their minds and souls empty, and they failed to create a life in which they could be magnificent heroes. They confined women with their narrow-minded ideas, imagining that women should believe they were mere commodities—objects without a mind or will. Some resisted, while others surrendered - my third solo exhibition-"Praying mantis doesn't dance or pray- By : Sabah Salem 2017"

I used in traditional Khayamia method to make this artwork
Khayamia : It’s a method of decoration was done by addition. Smaller pieces of fabric were placed on a larger fabric of a different color and often of a different fabric. The smaller pieces were secured by different hidden stitches using a needle. Also there’s region where workers who used this technique concentrated called Khayamia
