تُعد رحلة العائلة المقدسة إلى مصر من أبرز الأحداث الدينية والتاريخية التي ارتبطت بالأرض المصرية ، حيث لجأت السيدة العذراء مريم والسيد المسيح الطفل برفقة القديس يوسف النجار إلى مصر هربًا من اضطهاد الملك هيرودس . وقد باركت هذه الرحلة العديد من المواقع المصرية التي أصبحت محطات مقدسة وشواهد حية على عمق التراث الديني والثقافي لمصر . وتمثل رحلة العائلة المقدسة رمزًا لقيم التسامح والأمان واستقبال الغرباء ، كما تعكس المكانة الروحية الفريدة التي حظيت بها مصر عبر التاريخ ، مما جعل مسار الرحلة أحد أهم المسارات الدينية والتراثية في العالم ، وبهذه المناسبة نعرض الأيقونة الآتية :
The Holy Family’s Journey to Egypt is considered one of the most significant religious and historical events associated with the land of Egypt. The Virgin Mary, the infant Jesus Christ, and Saint Joseph the Carpenter sought refuge in Egypt to escape the persecution of King Herod. This journey blessed many locations across Egypt, which later became sacred sites and enduring testimonies to the country’s rich religious and cultural heritage. The Holy Family’s Journey symbolizes the values of tolerance, safety, and hospitality, while also reflecting Egypt’s unique spiritual significance throughout history. Today, the route of the Holy Family is recognized as one of the world’s most important religious and cultural courses ، on this occasion we publish the following Icon :
أيقونة من الطراز البيزنطى ، منفذة على لوح من الخشب، تمثل السيدة العذراء مريم حاملةً السيد المسيح طفلًا على ذراعها الأيسر، ويحيط برأسيهما هالتان ذهبيتان. وعلى جانبي رأس السيدة العذراء يظهر ملاكان مجنحان طائران فوق السحب، تحيط برأسيهما أيضًا هالتان ذهبيتان، يمسك كل منهما بيدٍ أحد طرفي التاج، وباليد الأخرى عنصرًا دائريًا. ويظهر أسفل السيدة العذراء صف يضم ستة قديسين يتوسطهم صليب .
