Mohsen Shaalan (1951 – 2014)
An Egyptian visual artist and one of the most prominent figures in Egypt’s contemporary art and cultural administration scene. Born in 1951, Shaalan left behind a unique artistic legacy that blended symbolic expression with philosophical depth. His paintings often explored the inner struggles of the human soul, capturing dreams, fears, and the unknown.

His style leaned toward contemporary expressionism with elements of surrealism and psychological symbolism, giving his work a contemplative and emotional atmosphere.

Mahmoud Abou El Magd (1930 – 2004)
An influential Egyptian visual artist and one of the pioneers of the modern art movement in Egypt. Born in 1930, he left behind a remarkable artistic legacy before his passing in 2004.
