“A taste of Spain at the MEAM”
Flamenco concerts with wine and cheese and olives tapas
Barcelona, 2014 – Starting this summer the European Museum of Modern Art (MEAM) increases its cultural offers with Flamenco concerts once a month. From now on, you will be able to experience traditional Spanish cuisine (glass of wine, Manchego cheese, and olives) combined with Flamenco dance and music, with the
opportunity to visit the permanent Art collection “Contemporary Art, 21th century” of MEAM. The concerts will take place on every last Fridays of the month from 21:00 to 22:00 h, which means an exceptional extension of the museum schedule to the visitors.
“A taste of Spain at the MEAM” aims at both tourists and residents. It mixes the best popular products of this territory as well as something so traditionally Spanish like the Flamenco dance and music, with a surprising contemporary atmosphere. On each concert you will enjoy Bulerías, Tangos, Seguiriyas and Sevillanas, offered by the following performers:
