From award-winning creative direction to contemporary art, Ignacio Cavero has spent decades developing a distinct visual language that now takes shape through MUNDO SUMO.

His work brings together Japanese sumo, manga influences, pop aesthetics, digital illustration, and sculpture, creating a universe that is bold, unexpected, and entirely his own.

Now, Cavero brings MUNDO SUMO to Málaga for a solo exhibition at The Fusion Art Gallery.

RUDOG’s Ruaridh Crighton The Replaceable Will Be Replaced explores identity, perception and transformation through a striking combination of expressive portraiture and layered colour.

The closed eyes and fragmented palette create a sense of introspection, while bold areas of colour move across the face, blurring the boundaries between the recognisable and the abstract.

Created in 2025 using acrylic and pastel on 100 × 140 cm canvas, the work reflects RUDOG’s distinctive approach to contemporary figurative painting, where emotion, colour and abstraction meet.

A compelling piece for collectors drawn to contemporary portraiture with a psychological edge.
