In the final, evocative chapter of Fred Friedrich’s Panorama Pentateuch, we arrive at Deuteronomium (Deuteronomy). This artwork serves as the philosophical climax of his Opus Magnum, capturing the moment of transition, memory, and the final "Second Law."

The Threshold of Promise: The composition is dominated by an elderly, patriarchal figure—a representation of Moses at the end of his life. He sits in a posture of reflection, his staff now a symbol of a journey completed. He is the bridge between the desert and the Promised Land he can see but not enter.
The Passing of the Torch: A younger, shrouded figure walks away into the luminous mist, symbolizing the new generation and the transition of leadership to Joshua. This movement represents the continuity of faith and the "living" nature of the law as it moves into a new territory.
The Moth and the Moment: The presence of the death's-head hawkmoth is a profound Friedrich signature. It symbolizes the fragility of life and the transformative nature of death. In Deuteronomium, it reminds us that while the individual (Moses) passes away, the spiritual truth and the "Word" remain eternal.
A Legacy of Light: The brilliant, white atmospheric light behind the figures represents the divine clarity of the final sermons. Friedrich uses this light to suggest that the "Second Law" is not a burden, but an illumination for the path ahead.
This powerful conclusion to the series invites us to look at our own legacies: What do we leave behind, and what truths do we carry forward into our own promised lands?

The PENTATEUCH book, the 6 Moses Book, is the last artwork in fesco canvas by Fred Friedrich, here we show you up "Numeri" the fourth book. Friedrich investigation about Faith is in form around 30 years.

The Weight of the Journey: The central figure, a monumental silhouette in deep indigo, represents the collective soul of the people. Its solid, statue-like presence anchors the composition, contrasting with the ethereal, mist-filled desert that surrounds them.
The Census of the Faithful: In the background, Friedrich depicts the "numbering" of the tribes. We see a procession of figures—soldiers in ancient armor and weary travelers—representing the organized but exhausting march through the wilderness of Sinai.
The Vulnerable and the Valiant: The gaunt, skeletal figure to the left serves as a stark reminder of the hardships faced. His presence highlights the mortality of the generation that left Egypt, a recurring theme in Numbers, where only a few are destined to see the promised land.
A Spirit of Persistence: Despite the atmospheric haze and the rugged terrain, the forward movement of the figures suggests an unbreakable momentum. Friedrich portrays faith here not as a peaceful state, but as a disciplined, communal effort to move toward a divine promise.
This piece invites the viewer to reflect on their own long journeys—the "deserts" we cross and the strength we find when we are part of something larger than ourselves

In this powerful second installment of Fred Friedrich's Panorama Pentateuch, the focus shifts to Exodus, an artwork that captures a pivotal moment in the history of faith.
The image depicts the legendary figure of Moses leading his people. Friedrich's unique style brings new life to this biblical narrative:
Leadership and Guidance: Moses stands at the forefront, his tall staff a symbol of both divine authority and the physical support needed for the arduous journey ahead.
The Weight of Faith: The weary but determined faces of the people following him highlight the human element of faith—the collective trust required to move toward an uncertain future.
A Dramatic Atmosphere: The swirling, light-filled background suggests the presence of the divine, creating a sense of both wonder and the immense challenge of the exodus.
