CAT/ És la nostra proposta per a l'Art Palma Summer 2026, que inaugurem el pròxim dijous 4 de juny de les 18 a les 22 h. El reconegut escultor JOAN CORTÉS (Pollença. Mallorca, 1964) ens convida a un nou plantejament de la relació entre el volum, l'espai i la inevitable incidència de la llum. Vos hi esperem!

CAST/ El próximo jueves, a partir de las 19h, celebramos la inauguración de la exposición de fotografía "La trinchera" de AITOR LARA (Barakaldo, 1974), en el marco del PHOF - Mallorca PhotoFest 2026.

ENG/ It is a plesure to share with you the invitation to the opening of the first exhibition of AITOR LARA (Barakaldo. Basc Country, 1974) in the Islands. It's the first time for us, too, in the field of photography. It's an honour that the recognized photograper has been accepted to be our proposal for the PHOF - Mallorca PhotoFest 2026.

És un plaer anunciar que la 6A ha coordinat, juntament amb la FONDATION NATIONALE DES MUSÉES i la EUROAFRICA FOUNDATION, l’Exposició “MARIANO FORTUNY I MARSAL (1838 – 1874). Maître graveur” que s’inaugura el proper dimarts dia 21 d’abril de 2026 a les 5pm, en el Musée Dar Niaba a Tanger (Marroc). La millor col·lecció privada de gravats, dibuixos preparatoris i altres curiositats, del gran mestre del S.XIX, viatja a la ciutat marroquí, gràcies a la cortesia, i inestimable generositat, del Sr. Enric Juncosa Darder. Igualment s'ha comptat amb la col.laboració d'alguna altra col.lecció privada. Un cop més la presència de la 6A en un projecte extern, mostra el seu compromís ferma amb l’art.

Igualmente se ha contado con la aportación pictórica de alguna otra colección privada. Una vez más la presencia de la 6A en un proyecto externo, muestra su compromiso firme con el arte.

It is a pleasure to announce that the 6A has coordinated, together with the FONDATION NATIONALE DES MUSÉES and the EUROAFRICA FOUNDATION, the exhibition “MARIANO FORTUNY I MARSAL (1838 – 1874). Maître graveur” that opens next Tuesday, April 21th, 2026 at 5pm, at the Musée Dar Niaba in Tanger. The best private collection of engravings, preparatory drawings and other curiosities, from the 19th century Grand Master, travels to Morocco, courtesy of Mr. Enric Juncosa Darder, and other private collectors. Once again the presence of the 6A in an external project shows its hard commitment to art.

The artist shows into his artworks part of the process, using in part brushstrokes of others past works. Lets glimpse traces, remains, of works executed instants before. His work uninterruptedly paves the way for different works performed at the same time, which avamps the creation of series full of coherence and solidity. Geometry is often displaced by gestural brushstrokes and coexistence with processed images, with an obvious predilection for old images published in the media, pixelated, that the artist manipulates or submits to his pictorial process. Often the game with the images, gives a glimpse of a cynical sense of the representation of the moment.
He always works on paper. His control about the painting on paper, sometimes mounted on wood, is absolute. He controls the wet and dry steps as nobody. Is a paper lover, and he makes that it turns essential part of his own artwork.
Within the apparent chance there is a strong method, a way of working studied and analyzed until all the compositional and technical possibilities are exhausted. Pagola moves by the restlessness of the test - error, until he exhausts all the options that his creative capacity gives him, being many.
Each of the pictorial series that he signs, have such a strong sense of pertanence that they are never closed or finished. They are open pictorial stages that at any time can be susceptible to be rethought and subjected to a pictorial and creative scrutiny that restarts new paths of investigation.
His relationship with our gallery has doing possible that he has developed an important work into the path of the original graphic limited edition, using all the technics, with an special attention to the lithography.

Born in Sevilla in 1993, where he is living and working. His work focuses on reduction to the essential and on visual silence as an alternative to the overwhelming proliferation of images today. He seeks to escape the speed that characterizes our environment and to create spaces for pause and reflection.
His practice is grounded in abstraction, emptiness, and calm, based on fundamental elements. He approaches his work from an introspective perspective, investigating the depths of painting in order to strip it of everything superfluous and engage with its most basic components.
In 2024, Manuel M. Romero began an ongoing exploration of traditional printmaking techniques through his collaboration with 6A. The artist has developed a particular affinity for lithography, drawn to the possibilities offered by lithographic stone, which he embraces as another expressive path—one that supports and expands his already solid pictorial discourse.
In 2025, 6A incorporated into its workshop the unique Voirin lithographic press (1890), currently active in the country. This marked a decisive moment in positioning 6A as the most important lithographic workshop in Spain. One of the first occasions on which the press was used in Mallorca was for the printing of four special lithographic editions by Romero.
The "J. VOIRIN" (2026) by Romero can be understood as a declaration of love—towards a technique and an industrial legacy. In a kind of pictorial exercise, the artist presents what could be seen as a technical manifesto, based on woodcut and lithographic works created "ad hoc".
Each piece has subsequently been intervened pictorially by the artist, with oil painting, pencil or spray, resulting in a unique work rich in meaning, both for the artist and for 6A.
The "J. VOIRIN" serie is composed by 9 unique pieces that can be enjoyed at the ART COLOGNE PALMA ART FAIR, Booth G238!

Miki Leal’s work moves fluidly between figurative and abstract painting, often infused with pop, graphic and surreal undertones.

Leal’s artistic practice draws from a wide range of cultural references, including music, literature, cinema, design and everyday life. His paintings revisit traditional genres such as still life, landscape and portraiture, reinterpreting them through a contemporary visual language shaped by personal memory, popular culture and graphic experimentation.

A distinctive feature of his work is the incorporation of graphic patterns and design elements inspired by tiles, mosaics, terrazzo floors and other geometric surfaces. These motifs frequently structure his compositions, reflecting his interest in visual rhythm and in the way time transforms objects and spaces.

The recognized artist collaborates with the 6A from 2024. Leal has exhibited widely in Spain and around the world, and his work is included in numerous public and private collections, including the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía (Madrid), the Centro Andaluz de Arte Contemporáneo (Seville), MUSAC (León), CA2M (Madrid), ARTIUM (Vitoria-Gasteiz), among others. His work will be enjoyed in the ART COLOGNE PALMA, booth G238!

The sculptor was born in Pollença, Mallorca, in 1964, where he has his studio, and works his sculpture based in the relationship between volum and space.
Cortès practice often explores accumulation and repetition through minimal gestures, achieving a refined balance between lightness and structure. His pieces evoke a sense of suspension and elevation, creating sculptural landscapes that suggest introspection, stillness, and emotional resonance.
We are working with Cortés from 2013. The last year we produced an speciffic artistic residence of the artist in Seville (Spain) to develope his own sculptures thanks to the ceramic job. He was working with the structures based in constructive pattern that turns itself to volums with an imposing presence. He complets the special play between the space, the volum and the light, thank to the application of authentic gold enamel. Some Seville experience results will be enjoyed in ART COLOGNE PALMA ART FAIR!
