This season we’ve hosted quite a few four-day residential art retreats as well as one-day art workshops here in our atelier/studio in Provence. We get to meet so many wonderful people from all over the world and it’s truly a great feeling to receive their reviews, all stating how much they’ve enjoyed our program, their stay in our home and our beautiful village - the enhanced confidence and pride in their artwork when they leave us is palpable and so satisfying for everyone.

We had this lovely group of four join us recently for a one-day art workshop: morning plein-air drawing, then the afternoon in the studio to create a mixed-media painting using acrylics and pastels with charcoal. It was a fun very and satisfying da for all.

‘Provençal Oaks’ mixed media on Arches paper 65x65cm. Latest drawing to be included in my forthcoming exhibition ‘ Summer to Winter’. It is also a prelude to my next collection >> ‘Le Chemin Caché’….’the Hidden Path’ a magic trail overlooking the village of Jouques where I spend part of the year and draw much inspiration from.
