The tree becomes a living manifesto: a dialogue between the organic and the abstract, between the memory of time and the timelessness of form, between fullness becoming matter and the void that structures it.”

For her third solo exhibition at Galerie Masurel, Flora Castiglia invites us to reconsider what appears familiar. Forms are never presented as fixed or self contained entities; instead, they unfold as layered structures, capable of holding multiple realities, shifting atmospheres, and overlapping temporalities. Vessels, everyday objects that are ances- tral and silent, become portals. Flowers, by contrast, emerge as living gestures, trans- forming the space they inhabit.

“I understand the multiverse as a multiplicity of possible perspectives. Not because there are many realities, but because a single one unfolds into infinite interpretations. Each experience, each emotional state, each sense of distance or closeness constructs a different universe. Nothing transforms on its own; it is the gaze that alters meaning. The same object, the same scene, can become fragile, tense, luminous, or silent depen- ding on how I position myself in relation to it. In this constant shift, I find the core of my work.

Multiverso emerges from this observation: from accepting that there is no single way of seeing or being, and that every gaze is valid. My work operates in this in between space, where the everyday opens up and reveals new layers, where a single reality can contain many at once.”
