The French selection is chosen among the most promising artists participating to the “Salon de Montrouge”, in particular the prizes of the event, which are presented, each year, at the “Palais de Tokyo”, famous contemporary art museum in Paris. The 2011/2013 biennial gave to 80 young European artists the opportunity to be discovered by a large European audience, and for the winner of the JCE grand prize, the chance to present 5 personal artworks in the next edition. The JCE network gives also to its artists the opportunity to experience a residency program offering stays of 2/3 months in 4 European partner cities: Amarante, Montrouge, Klaipeda and Salzburg. Obviously, the JCE is much more than just an exhibition: It is a project to promote young European artists throughout the entire continent by increasing their visibility. We invite you to visit JCE’s new website, which is presenting the JCE artists work, the JCE’s latest news, and many more information about the JCE network.
