On 6 November 2026, FAMM will inaugurate its second solo exhibition, In Plain Sight, dedicated to the work of Swiss artist , curated by Simon de Pury. The exhibition will be on view until 4 April 2027 at the Centre d’Art de Mougins, in the heart of the historic village, in partnership with the Mougins.

The first exhibition dedicated to the artist by an institution in France, it spans two floors and brings together fifteen works created between 2017 and 2026, the majority of which are paintings, alongside three sculptures.

Gagliardi’s creative process lies at the intersection of the digital and the analogue, and her compositions depict figures who rarely look one another in the eye. They observe one another through windows, reflections and doorways, within interiors that seem suspended in time. The visitor enters these scenes as an intruder and constructs their own narrative, which the artist deliberately leaves open-ended. The exhibition’s title announces its theme: that which is concealed in plain sight.

Le 6 novembre 2026, FAMM inaugurera sa deuxième exposition monographique, In Plain Sight, consacrée au travail de l’artiste suisse , sous le commissariat de Simon de Pury. L’exposition sera présentée jusqu’au 4 avril 2027 au Centre d’Art de Mougins, au cœur du village historique, en partenariat avec la Mougins.

Première exposition consacrée à l’artiste par une institution en France, elle occupe deux étages et réunit quinze œuvres réalisées entre 2017 et 2026, dont une majorité de peintures auxquelles s’ajoutent trois sculptures.

Le processus créatif de Gagliardi est à la rencontre du digital et de l’analogue, et ses compositions mettent en scène des personnages qui se regardent rarement en face. Ils s’observent à travers des vitres, des reflets et des embrasures, dans des intérieurs qui semblent hors du temps. Le visiteur entre dans ces scènes en intrus et construit son propre récit, que l’artiste laisse délibérément ouvert. Le titre de l’exposition annonce le thème : ce qui se dissimule en pleine vue.

On 14 October, The Christian Levett Collection, founder of FAMM, was invited by the Financial Times, in partnership with Corient, to speak at The Shape of Legacy, held at THE MANDRAKE in London during Frieze week.

Alongside Helena Newman (Sotheby's Europe), (Corient) and (Financial Times), Christian discussed how art, design and collecting can shape the legacies we leave behind. The conversation explored how collections can express personal values, preserve heritage and connect generations, as well as the role of stewardship and philanthropy in creating lasting cultural value.

Thank you to the Financial Times and Corient for the invitation, to our fellow speakers, to Alice Lascelles for hosting the cocktail tasting, and to everyone who joined us for the evening.

Leonor Fini takes centre stage in two major exhibitions across Europe!✨

Three further works will then be exhibited at the , from 26 March to 15 August 2027.

Fille d’un écrivain et d’une musicienne, Eva Gonzalès grandit dans un univers où la littérature, la musique et les arts occupent une place centrale. À vingt-deux ans, elle choisit de se consacrer à la peinture et devient l’unique élève d’Édouard Manet, avant d’affirmer une œuvre profondément personnelle.

Portraits, scènes d’intérieur, femmes absorbées dans leurs pensées ou instants de la vie quotidienne : Eva Gonzalès développe une peinture intime et sensible, attentive aux gestes, aux atmosphères et à la modernité de son époque. Exposée régulièrement au Salon, elle connaît de son vivant une véritable reconnaissance et s’impose comme une artiste à part entière.

Pour L’Heure FAMM, Elisabeth Jacquet, autrice de littérature contemporaine, reviendra sur le parcours de cette artiste libre et déterminée, sur son univers et sur une œuvre singulière, entre intimité et modernité.

Une scène empreinte de douceur et d’intimité.

Dans Susan Seated in a Garden, Mary Cassatt représente une femme assise dans un jardin, capturant avec délicatesse un instant de calme et de contemplation. À travers ses touches de couleur et sa composition lumineuse, l’artiste explore les moments ordinaires de la vie quotidienne avec une grande sensibilité.

L’œuvre est actuellement visible dans l’exposition Mary Cassatt. Une impressionniste américaine à Paris au à Paris, où elle est prêtée par le FAMM.

In 1968, Sofía Bassi was arrested following the death of her son-in-law, Count Cesare D’Acquarone. She claimed the shooting was accidental. But other accounts suggested that her daughter, Claire, may have been responsible and that Bassi took the blame to protect her.

What really happened remains uncertain.

During her five years in prison, she continued to paint, producing 275 works behind bars. Her confinement became a place of creation, while the circumstances of the crime remained shrouded in doubt.

Was it an accident? An act of protection? Or a secret that was never fully revealed?🤔
