A Measure of Days, the remarkable long-term project by artist Frank den Os.

For years, Frank has created one work every single day. Each Day is an autonomous artwork, while at the same time forming part of an ever-growing, ever-changing whole.

At 16:00, Frank will talk about how the project began, the rhythm of creating every day, and how the accumulation and dispersal of the individual works continue to transform A Measure of Days.

A unique opportunity to see the project presented here in its full scope for the very first time — and to meet the artist and hear the story behind the work.

✨ What a wonderful ending to a vibrant weekend of art and culture! ✨

On Sunday, we wrapped up the second weekend of the Dans Les Collines exhibition with Ivo Van Woerden’s presentation of his book 'In de greep van de goeroe'.

While the rain was making itself heard both outside and inside ☔, our little venue was completely full of interested visitors. We were delighted to welcome back familiar faces and to meet so many new people!

Ivo gave us a fascinating afternoon and, of course, we ended it the way we should: with an apéro; drinks, delicious bites and plenty of conversation. 🥂

All in all, the perfect ending to a fantastic second weekend! ❤️

For now, our gates will be closed for three days…

But on Thursday, 3 September at 14:00, they’ll open again for the final weekend of Dans Les Collines! ON TO THE GRAND FINALE!🎨✨

Yesterday afternoon, art lovers and w**e enthusiasts came together for a wonderfully relaxed and convivial gathering "on the hill" at Domaine Lavau. 🎨🍷✨
Thank you all for coming, for the lovely conversations, and of course for your appreciation and purchase of both art and w**e. ❤️

Een standbeeld in Zaragoza Spanje, vervaardigd door kunstenaar José Luis Fernández.
De sculptuur laat een vrouw zien die gebukt gaat onder wasmachines, emmers, en bezems, maar ondertussen de handen van haar kinderen vasthoudt.
Het kunstwerk stelt de vraag: Wat noemen we eigenlijk werk?
Het werk van vrouwen in huis, in de zorg, in het onzichtbare, werd zelden betaald, geregistreerd of gewaardeerd.
Dit beeld is een ode aan al die vrouwen die zogenaamd " niets deden" , maar ondertussen alles bij elkaar hielden.

🎨✨ A Fantastic Evening About George Sand!

Last night, art and culture lovers were treated to a very special lecture by Madame Cherrier, guide at the Maison de George Sand à Nohant. 🏛️

With passion, enthusiasm and a wonderful eye for detail, she took the audience into the fascinating world of George Sand — a world in which the fine arts, theatre, literature and music all played important roles. 🎭📚🎶

In the atmospheric surroundings of Domaine Lavau, we felt as though we had stepped back in time and gained a wonderful insight into the life, interests and cultural world surrounding this remarkable woman. 🌿✨

We would like to thank Madame Cherrier for her fascinating talk, and of course everyone who joined us for their presence and enthusiasm. 👏

Thanks to all of you, it was once again an evening we will look back on with great pleasure! ✨
