La Porte Peinte La Porte Peinte is an international arts centre based in a medieval village in Burgundy. Fermeture annuelle entre le 2 janvier et Pâques.

La Porte Peinte houses a gallery, a tea room, atelier spaces, workshop spaces, event spaces, and accommodations for artists, makers, and writers in residence. Closed every year between 2 January and Easter.

La Porte Peinte héberge une galerie, un salon de thé, des ateliers d'artistes, des espaces dédiés aux stages, des espaces événementiels et des facilités pour les artistes, les artisans et écrivains en résidence.

As we prepare to say a fond farewell to 2024 and a cautiously hopeful hello to 2025, let’s take a moment to acknowledge the wonders we embraced at . Nearly 50 artists in residence came together in 2024, some now annual AIRs and some coming for the first time. There were countless paintings painted and drawings drawn; screenplays written and plays plotted out; cartoons created and collages concocted; photos taken and films edited ; books written and stories sketched; encaustics torched and cyanotypes cooked; lyrics written and songs sung; paper crimped and fibres finessed; berries picked, plums plucked, eggs gathered and many wonderful meals prepared and shared. A round of applause for all the lovely artists, writers, musicians and creative explorers who join together here and create not only art but abiding international community….this is a treasure. .perutska .medley .davies .nicole.clahar .studio .calvert.22 .obrian
