Very rare and elegant pair of mahogany armchairs with gilded bronze feet by French interior and furniture designer Baptistin Spade (1891-1969) famous for decoration of thirty liners from the 1930s to 1967.
Carefully restored and recovered with Hermes fabric.
For the history we also safe original Aubusson tapestry after a Spad's cardboard.
This armchairs were in the first class lounges of the famous French liner "Liberté" in 1950s.
Measures: 71cm x 75cm and height 80cm.

Pair of rare midcentury armchairs by very sophisticated Italian designer Pierluigi Colli (1895 -1968) (model number 556) was made in 1955 specially for the house of famous Italian actor Nunzio Filogamo in Turin.
