Esther Stocker's work consists mainly of paintings and installations in an abstract and geometrical perspective. For this exhibition, she presents new pieces in which geometry becomes the very principle of a visual language capable of simultaneously structuring and destabilizing perception.

- Artist’s Updates -

Italian artist Christian Fogarolli is part of the group show ‘Croire et guérir. Et délivrez-nous du mal’, opening tomorrow at Musée d'art et d'histoire Paul-Eluard, in Saint-Denis, Paris. Recognized as a project of national interest by the French Ministry of Culture, the exhibition brings together over 280 historical objects, from ancient apothecary jars to protective talismans, to examine the thin line between official science, religion, and magic from the Middle Ages to today.
_
Fogarolli connects the medical heritage of the past with the conceptual art of the present. Operating at the intersection of contemporary art, medical history, and anthropology, artist explores how humanity has historically rationalized and treated bodily and mental ailments, balancing between rigorous science and mystical beliefs.

_
With 'The Lotus Eaters', Gayle Chong Kwan unfolds an immersive installation combining textiles, sculpture, procession, and virtual reality. Activated through live performance, the work transforms domestic materials into ritual objects while exploring memory, resistance, and the politics of space.
'La Forêt des Rouleaux – Divination' is composed of glass tubes, printed elements, copper forms, and an oriental cabinet, creating a symbolic environment where botanical motifs become a unifying thread between materiality and imagination.

- Venice -

Exploring the different materials and techniques employed by the world-renowned feminist artist Judy Chicago, ‘The Materiality of Judy Chicago’ offers an overview of her prolific career, which redefined artistic practice through collaboration, connection, and a critique of patriarchal system. The solo show, curated by Allison Raddock, is on view at our Venice gallery until 22 November 2026.
_
‘To me, feminism is an evolving philosophy that challenges the patriarchal underpinnings of societies all over the world. It offers an alternative paradigm, one based on justice for all living creatures-human and nonhuman [...] with people working together to create a better world. It is not just about women; it is an entire paradigm shift’.

Quote from the conversation between Judy Chicago and Massimilano Gioni in the exhibition book ‘Judy Chicago in Venice / Judy Chicago à Venise’ (2026).

- Artist’s Updates -

Michele Spanghero's public art project, 'Field Pipes', is now permanently on view at the Parco Belvedere delle Querce, Poggiorsini (Italy). The work, activated through the movement of wind, transforms the environment itself into a living instrument and enhances the Murgia landscape.
_
'Field Pipes' unfolds as a site-specific sound installation combining sculpture, architecture, acoustic resonance, and public participation. Conceived by Spanghero as an immersive listening device, the work consists of twelve monumental iron resonating pipes arranged across two concentric circles overlooking the landscape of the Alta Murgia. Drawing inspiration from organ pipes and rural hydraulic infrastructures, the installation reimagines the relationship between sound, territory, and collective perception, where the natural environment becomes both performer and composer.

- Venice -

In conjunction with the 2026 Venice Biennale, we are delighted to host a solo exhibition by world-renowned American artist Judy Chicago, curated by Allison Raddock, which is open to public from today, 8 May, until 22 November.
_
The exhibition seeks to further introduce and contextulize Chicago’s work for a broader European audience, expanding the dialogue around her enduring impact. Judy Chicago has challenged artistic hierarchies, embracing techniques historically dismissed as ‘craft’ and transforming them into powerful vehicles for feminist and conceptual inquiry.

- Artist’s Updates -

Gayle Chong Kwan is featured in the exhibition 'Penelope. Her Journeys', presented at Fondation Valmont, Palazzo Bonvicini, Venice, from 5 May 2026 to 31 January 2027. On the occasion of the opening on 5 May, her work 'The Lotus Eaters' (2026) is activated through a live procession.
_
'The Lotus Eaters' unfolds as a multi-layered installation combining sculpture, textiles, performance, and virtual reality. Drawing on the myth of Penelope, Chong Kwan reinterprets the notion of sacred hospitality (xenia) through a contemporary lens, where the domestic sphere becomes a site of tension, resistance, and transformation. Everyday materials including fabric, kitchen utensils, and wearable forms are reconfigured into ritual objects, evoking themes of memory, resilience, and the politics of the home. Extending into the city, the procession moves silently through Venice, engaging with locations tied to women’s histories and activating a collective, embodied reflection on gendered space and narrative.

- Artist’s Updates -

Marco Godinho's work is part of the group exhibition 'ΙΣΤΟΣ / WEB – Contemporary Artists’ Books', curated by Maria Bourbou and Aias Christofis, and presented at Cercle Cité, Luxembourg, until 21 June 2026.
_
Bringing together Greek and Luxembourg-based artists, the exhibition explores the artist’s book as an expanded and hybrid field where text, image, and material intersect. In a context shaped by digital systems and non-linear reading, the show questions how the artist’s book can persist as both a physical and conceptual medium.
