De juin à septembre, à l’occasion du centenaire de William Klein, la MEP rend hommage à l’artiste à travers une rétrospective cinématographique exceptionnelle, réalisée en partenariat avec le .
Photographe, peintre et cinéaste, Klein a profondément bousculé les codes de l’image. Du mercredi au samedi en fin de journée, l’auditorium accueille ses grands classiques aux côtés de films rares, d’inédits ainsi que de nombreuses archives.
Cette rétrospective se prolonge dans les espaces par un accrochage de photographies, d’œuvres graphiques et d’ouvrages issus des collections de la MEP, qui conservent plus de 300 pièces de l’artiste.

From June to September, on the occasion of William Klein’s centenary, the MEP pays tribute to the artist with an exceptional film retrospective, presented in partnership with the Studio William Klein.
A photographer, painter, and filmmaker, Klein profoundly challenged and redefined the conventions of image-making. From Wednesday to Saturday in the late afternoon and evening, the auditorium will screen his iconic films alongside rare works, previously unseen material, and a wealth of archival footage.
The retrospective extends throughout the museum with a display of photographs, graphic works, and publications from the MEP’s collections, which include more than 300 works by the artist.
