The Nerve brings together artists who explore how we hold ourselves together through tension, intuition, vulnerability, and the quiet signals that move through us. The exhibition traces these sensitivities across different practices, creating a conversation between bodies, emotions, and forms of resistance.

On the occasion of the opening, Galerie Allen will also host the book launch of Who is afraid of red blue & yellow? by Ugo Rondinone and Tarek Lakhrissi, published by Reiffers Art Initiatives.

GALERIE ALLEN at Art Basel Miami Beach 2025
We are pleased to present a solo booth by Linus Bill in the Positions sector (Booth P4).

The presentation brings together a new body of paintings that continue Bill’s exploration of image construction, translation and scale. Working across photography, digital processes and painting, he plays with shifts between source material and final form, creating works that oscillate between abstraction and representation.

Trevor Yeung is featured in the new issue of Arcane, with an in-depth interview conducted by Baptiste Renoux that traces the evolving logic of his practice. Thgalerieallenon highlights Yeung’s sensitivity to living systems, maintenance, and the quiet structures of care that underpin his installations.
Working with plants, aquariums, shells, stones, and modular architectures, Yeung constructs ecosystems that shift and transform over time. His work embraces both control and vulnerability, allowing natural processes to leave visible marks within each piece. This approach continues in his forthcoming series of shell paintings to be presented at Galerie Allen.

« Redundant Lovers »
Through November 22, 2025

For his third exhibition at Galerie Allen, Trevor Yeung presents a new body of work made with sea shells from the pearl industry. These shells, once broken apart to extract pearls, are painted with mineral pigments such as malachite, azurite and ultramarine. The series takes inspiration from kai-awase, a Japanese court game dating back to the Heian period in which decorated shells were paired as a symbol of union.

TREVOR YEUNG — Courtyard of Detachments

On view at M+ through 12 October 2025 in the Cissy Pui-Lai Pao and Shinichiro Watari Galleries.

Adapted from Courtyard of Attachments, Hong Kong in Venice—originally presented as a Collateral Event of the 60th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia—this exhibition marks Trevor Yeung’s return to M+ with a reconfigured installation.

Through drained aquariums and fishless tanks, Yeung reflects on the fragile balance between human and aquatic ecosystems, reframing them through the lens of detachment. These empty containers become landscapes of absence and longing, metaphors for emotional systems and social structures that shape our lives.

Presented by M+ in collaboration with the Hong Kong Arts Development Council (HKADC), the exhibition also speaks to the environmental and systemic concerns underpinning contemporary society.
