🇬🇧 What if there were another way to discover history?
In recent years, new technologies and immersive experiences have transformed the museum experience.
Since its creation, D-Day Experience has helped pioneer a different approach to sharing history, placing immersion at the heart of the visitor experience.
✈️ Here, visitors don't simply discover the history of D-Day: they are transported back to the hours leading up to it.
It all begins with an extraordinary briefing. Lieutenant Colonel Wolverton, recreated as a hologram, addresses visitors as he would have addressed his paratroopers before their departure for Normandy.
The experience then continues aboard a genuine C-47 aircraft converted into a flight simulator, recreating the crossing of the English Channel on the night of June 5–6, 1944.
🎥 Emmanuel Allain, co-founder of the museum, shares the vision behind this approach, combining innovation, immersion and historical remembrance.
