If you are a fan of Kouta Sasai I’m sure you’ve seen his YouTube videos on which you can watch him draw/paint his iconic self portraits for hours!
Have you ever wondered (like me ) why he keeps changing so much what he’s painting?
What is going on in his mind???
For example, while painting you find the part of the painting good, then you would want to keep it and go look for the solution elsewhere on the canvas. At least I tend to do this…
But it’s certainly not the case of Kouta 😁

Ben Rikken is back for a new show.

Opening night Friday May 3 from 17:00

This time featuring a series of plein air paintings of Cuisery. Cuisery by the river La Seille. Cuisery is a nearby village of Tournus where our gallery is.
It’s a charming place also famous for its secondhand bookstores.

There will be other landscapes and still life paintings from his recent collection.
