Artism UK

Artism UK Artism is a not for profit organisation providing support for artists on the autism spectrum.

We offer space for artists to work, exhibit, create supportive networks, build confidence and reduce the isolation which many individuals with ASC experience. About Artism
The primary goal of Artism as a concept is to provide an
inclusive organisation supporting people on the autistic
spectrum who have an interest or talent in the arts. Through
a self-financing venture, we offer a safe, supportive

environment where artists can produce and exhibit their
work, whilst mixing with like minded people. Our vision is for the studios and gallery to be places where
professional and amateur artists, including artists on the
autistic spectrum, work together. We believe, that in this
way, progress can be made towards reducing the sense of
social isolation which many individuals with ASC
experience. Moving forward there will be a variety of opportunities at
the studios and gallery: making group or individual artwork;
exhibition curation; gaining experience of working on
reception; helping out with projects that are running, to
name a few - there are many ways to get involved! If you are interested in learning more about Artism and the
opportunities we have to offer, please contact Brin Morris

I would like to thank the Gibbins family who made a return visit to the gallery today and left a very generous donation to support our artists.
Your generosity is very much appreciated.

Our Sunday morning modeling and railway club meets on a Sunday morning. It is a men's club where you can have a panad eat biscuits and help build our model railway.
You don't have to have an interest in model railways but want to come and have a brew and get out of the house for a couple of hours anything goes really.
Contact Bryn for more information.

We have had the sad news of losing two founder members of the model railway club in the last two weeks. We will have two of the models that are taken to shows on display in the gallery as a mark of respect. RIP Dave and John it was a great pleasure to know you both.

The Annual Artism exhibition is showing this month. We are a little behind promoting this as I have found that when falling off a ladder you do not bounce as easily as when you are younger.
On the mend now though.

We are now accepting artwork for the Annual Artism exhibition. If you would like to show work in the exhibition please get in touch for more information. We make exhibiting in our exhibitions really simple. There are no charges to exhibit. This is a fully inclusive exhibition. Artism specialises in supporting Autistic artists and artists who just need a little support to exhibit.
We will prove your work is good enough to be exhibited.

I've got you.
All you need is one person in your life who is standing next to you and says "I got you.
That's where the courage comes from to chase a dream.

I know this becouse although I am front of house at the gallery without Tracy non of this would have happened.
I am showing photography of Dionne Cyprus .
Respect to all the supporters of the dreamers

Next is The Emporers new clothes
This is to show that even if you are in your sixties and never painted before you can start.
I was inspired by people around me to have a go at painting which has raised money for the gallery.
Do it for yourself no one else.
