Hello Incredible People,
There was due to be a gardening session on Saturday 11th April however due to personal circumstances, I'm unable to be there. However I hope to re-arrange, all being well, for the following Saturday April 18th at the usual time of 12.00 midday - 2.00pm and of course at the usual place.
If anyone would like to help out in the meantime I am sure the garden would really appreciate some water, mainly the raised beds and the ground level vegetable bed, chapel side. Watering cans are by the compost bins.
At the last session Don was making headway with glazing the new Greenhouse, and we also cleared out most of the dead foliage from underneath the rose hip hedge, planted an artichoke, watered and sowed radish, lettuce, beans and courgette seeds. We also had a prospective volunteer stop for a chat - welcome Paul!
Hope to see you all soon at the next session.
Celia

Join Us for a Spring Garden Tidy-Up – Saturday 28th March
Hello Incredible People,
Spring is finally here, and the garden is waking up at Sir Henry Jones Museum so it’s the perfect time for a community tidy up.
We’ll be meeting from 12.00–2.00pm on Saturday 28th March to clear away old foliage for compost, sow a variety of seeds (including leeks, cucumbers, lettuce, sunflowers, and some of our own saved pea seeds), and we'll be as usual doing a bit of weeding and watering .
Whether you’re a regular helper or just fancy giving it a go, you’d be very welcome. No experience needed just enthusiasm and clothes you don’t mind getting a little muddy.
It’s always a lovely way to spend a couple of hours outdoors, and the garden really does benefit from every pair of hands.
There will be hot drinks to keep hands warm and plenty of biscuits.
Hope to see you there.
Hwyl,
Celia
