Nick has been serving the Abertillery community in a variety of ways for a number of years. He has been an active member of the Abertillery branch of Lions International for over 10 years and in 2014 was elected President. Along with his fellow Lions volunteers, Nick has help to raise thousands of pounds for local charities. He is also a founding trustee of Ffrindiau Abertyleri, an organisation se
t up in conjunction with Communities First. Nick is passionate about putting Abertillery back on the map and has helped organise a number of local events. These include Aberfest and Winterfest, which Nick helped set up and has contributed to every year. If elected, Nick will continue to serve the community and will ensure that the Community Council uses its resources to further the interests of Abertillery residents. Having lived all his life in Abertillery, Nick knows the challenges that face the Town and what needs improving.
