The Alford Heritage Museum road run is this coming Sunday (28th) starting from the museum at 11am.
Can you please let me know if you are coming, I have had problems with the museum chairman's email so if you sent an email last week can you send it again as they did not come through. It's back working again now.
The lunch stop will be at the Cushnie picnic and they are offering to supply your fly free of charge but we do need numbers for catering purposes.
Coffee for the drivers at the museum from 10.15am
Spectators at the museum are very welcome, the tractors will start arriving at about 10.15am or come and view the tractors at Cushnie picnic, should arrive about 1pm.

Here's an update on the museum Tractor Run.
We have been invited to call in to the Cushnie picnic and games for our lunch stop this year. As an added bonus they have very kindly offered to supply a fly cup and fancy piece for all the tractor drivers.
There will also be a paid for barbeque should you need something extra.
We will be leaving the museum at 11am and arriving at Cushnie Hall just before 1pm so if you have family who would like to join us at Cushnie for the lunch stop there will be the extra attraction of the Picnic and Games as well as the tractors this year.
To help with catering at both the museum and Cushnie can you please let us know you are coming on the run.

It's the Museum 35th Anniversary vintage vehicle parade on Saturday (2nd May) starting from the Museum at 11am, we are hoping to cover quite a lot of Alford so everyone should have a chance to see us.Here is the route:
On leaving the Museum half will travel up Fraser Road, down Kingsford Road, Greystone Road and David McLean Avenue. The other half will go up Main Street then Balfour Road to join up with the other half on Donside Road. We shall head towards the school turning right before we get there and come back down to the A944 and turning right back towards the village. Down Gordon Road turn right then left, through the carpark and back onto Main Street, left into Stewart Road left onto Aberdeen Road right at the garage, past Balfluig Castle and back into Alford on Castle Road, half the vehicles will come up the estate and the rest will come up Main Street.
Once back to the Museum we will park up in the paddock and visitors can view the vehicles, please access via the Museum main entrance and remember entry is at 1991 prices £1 for adults and 60p for children.
Our new exhibition "More than a Museum" can be viewed in the Museum as well as all the other exhibits and all for £1 what better value can you find.
