The 1st part of a project we are carrying out for in the Rose Gardens at . We are halfway through creating 4 bespoke Rose Arbours, which are to replace the willow arbours which although work as intended are increasingly deteriorating. The 1st two are now in place with another two being completed in the coming weeks. Once these new arbours are complete, there is the intention for us to create a curved seating area inside each structure. Once complete and the roses are trained over our ironwork, each arbour will become a quaint and cosy area to relax and contemplate the remaining beauty of the gardens at Chatsworth, a truly stunning place and a real credit to the gardening team. Keep your eyes out for more updates to come! ⚒️🔥🌹

“From concept to creation”
A recently completed project for a new client in Matlock. We were approached about some bespoke railings and handrails that were required as part of a renovation project. The client described their requirements which I then put onto paper and proceeded on that basis. The idea was to have a functional balustrade that was to make the outside terrace and steps safer, whilst also creating a free flowing (free growing) and natural feature that would add an interesting feature to the property that would also blend into the natural surroundings and not be too imposing. Each panel was carefully forged to show one panel “growing” into the next with about 100+ hand forged leaves from 3/4 round bar and a similar amount of branches and stems to carry the leaves and add strength and definition to the sections. There will be more to follow as our client continues the renovations and landscaping of their property and grounds in the coming months. 🌿⚒️🔥

How were these vents ever painted over!?? 😩 6 of these vents were bought into us for repair and restoration from Stanton Lees Chapel, not knowing what lied beneath…..after some and these amazingly decorative and beautiful cast iron vents are now fully operational and back to their former glory, ready to be reinstalled. These fixtures would not have even been noticed for many years but will now once again be a subtle and functional yet delicately fascinating feature of this important and historic Chapel. Just another example what a privilege it is to be a part of to be able to resurrect such treasures.☺️⚒️🔥
