We got a new Nikon Europe camera and lenses so I’m trying to work out how to use them and ‘compose the image’. Thought it would be good to use an instantly recognisable image and something with a bit of colour. They don’t come more recognisable than the Mona Lisa and this version is from Sir Michael Craig Martin’s ‘Past & Present’ exhibition Cristea Roberts Gallery gallery in 2022. Three of four Ian Davenport ‘four seasons’ etchings with chine colle curated for an interior project back in 2000. Right in the middle of Covid, I remember installing these in an isolated environment with full PPE. They looked amazing then and still look amazing now. We have a big new Ian Davenport arriving next week. Come and see!
