Yes, I know it's not a steam engine but I liked the scene so here we are. Anstruther harbour as it was a few years ago.

The latest creation! Maybe...I'm not sure if it's finished or not. Anyway picture yourself out for a nice walk along the canal. The sun is shining after a shower of rain, there's a wee boy fishing, all is lovely and then along comes this great clanking monstrosity belching out brown clag and spoiling the whole thing! It's a GWR Castle Class 4-6-0, number 4073 'Earl of Mount Edgcumbe'.

Just finished this one. It's been months in the making! A B1 stopping at Leven old station on the way to Thornton. Early 1960s. You can't really see it but it has the 'Partan Van' at the tail for picking up fresh crabs and shellfish from the East Neuk fishing villages for onward transportation to the South.

Makes you feel really old when your granddaughter's band release their first single. Mind you it wouldn't have been out of place in 1970! I mean that as huge compliment. Keep on rockin guys!

I have to express my huge thanks to Stevie for making it possible for me to put on this small exhibition at Fife Heritage Railway Today. It was quiet as the weather was awful but just getting there was a huge step for me so Job Done! Thank You Stevie. This is my first venture out since coming home from hospital. Things are improving but a lot slower than I would have hoped. So Lord give me patience! Continuing thanks to everyone for your support and good wishes. I'll get a bit more mobile over the next couple of weeks.

Hi Everybody,

Sorry I've not updated for a while. I'm home now in Anstruther and it's taken me a week to build up enough energy to start getting back into stuff! Fantastic support from family and friends, thank you so much. You all know who you are! I'm managing short walks out in the street and I'm getting about the house and looking after myself fine. (Still living like a total slob but there's nothing different there). So, feeling good but still pretty weak but that's getting better daily. Started singing again yesterday. It wasn't pretty but it's a start. I'll keep up the voice exercises to get my diaphragm control back. It's still pretty weak. So if you hear weird noises from the house, that's what it'll be! Hope to see y'all soon.
