We’re delighted to once again be exhibiting the beautiful work of local printmaker, Alexandra Buckle, at our Farmhouse in Swanbourne for Bucks Art Weeks.

Alexandra’s just finished hanging her work ahead of the start of the exhibition this coming Saturday.
She will be demonstrating next Tuesday, 9th June from 10am to 4pm, and again on Sunday 14th June.

Only 9 days to go! We’re really looking forward to being part of Henley Arts Trail for the first time this year over the May Bank Holiday!
We’re hosting an exhibition of 38 talented artists and makers, including members of the wonderful Buckinghamshire Craft Guild, plus guest artists at The River House at Henley Business School.
On the banks of The River Thames, you can of course drive to the venue, or why not do it in style by catching a river boat taxi from Henley town centre straight to our venue and then enjoy a cream tea too? (cream tea bookable in advance via https://www.henleyartstrail.com/treat).

We’re open daily from 2nd-4th May from 10am to 5pm.

2 weeks to go to our exhibition!

The Buckinghamshire Craft Guild will be participating in Henley Arts Trail over the May Bank Holiday weekend, from 2nd to 4th May in a wonderful venue – The River House at Henley Business School.

The exhibition features work by 26 of our members on the ground floor of The River House, as well as an exhibition of work by 12 wonderful guest artists on the upper floor.

The exhibition is open 10am to 5pm daily and artists will be in attendance each day to discuss their work. All work is for sale.

Henley Business School are offering cream teas (bookable in advance via the Henley Arts Trail web site) and refreshments and there is also a river boat taxi direct to the venue from central Henley.

Following the success of our 2025 Swanbourne Art Trail, Obsidian Art are hosting two art trails in 2026 for Bucks Art Weeks: a new Art Trail around Aylesbury and the repeat of Swanbourne Art Trail in our home village of Swanbourne.

We have secured several exciting venues for each trail and we will be putting together a group of artists and makers to take part in each.

You don't have to be based in Bucks, but you must be able to steward for at least 2 days during the event.
