Part of a memorial quilt from the world's largest community art project will be displayed in the museum from Saturday 30th May.

The main artwork comprises of 42 quilts and 23 individual panels and is to honour over 384 individuals affected by HIV and AIDS. It was commenced by activist Cleve Jones in 1985 in the USA.

A big thank you to all the children (and parents) who joined us this morning for the DAAS litter pick. We were also joined by Councillors Gary Hall and Scott McKenzie, and between us all we collected an amazing 9 bags of litter whilst having a lot of fun. We finished at Darfield All Saints where the children took part in some sunflower seed planting and painting after a well earned drink.
Watch this space for details of the next one soon.
