Enjoy a great British day out with beautiful gardens, stunning sea views and rides on the award-winning Beer Heights Light Railway
50 Years of our Model Railway Exhibition and BHLR Railway! Visitors can expect a great day out for all the family, enjoying beautiful themed gardens with stunning sea views; home-made food and a selection of refreshments from our outside kiosk and, of course, rides on the award-winning Beer Heights Light Railway where a fleet of miniature steam and diesel locomotives pull passenger- carrying trains on a mile long route through the grounds, over bridges, through steep-sided cuttings and a long, dark tunnel! We also have four large outside play areas, a lovely Wildway walk with stunning views, which incorporates our beautiful pond and our zip wire for the braver ones amongst you! Model railway enthusiasts will know the Company is a brand leader in the making of model railway track – superbly detailed layouts are on display in the Model Railway Exhibition next to our model shop.

Job Vacancy - Pecorama/PECO -HORTICULTURIST/ GARDENER

This role is responsible for all aspects of horticulture and presentation of the gardens. Reporting into our maintenance manager who also has horticultural experience, and with one direct report, you will manage the general upkeep and maintenance of the gardens and grounds ensuring a high horticultural standard. This role will also be integral to the ongoing design, development, and improvement of the gardens, in line with our vision for Pecorama. Due to the seasonal nature of Pecorama and opening to the general public, some weekend and/or seasonal working hours may be required from time to time.
