After finishing my MFA in June, I had a little time away from painting — but it’s been good to get back to the studio this month.

September has been about exploring, experimenting and following on from the work I made for the degree show and seeing where it might lead next.

This painting explores the space between experiences - when thoughts and memories converge, a space where boundaries between interior and exterior dissolve and past and present merge. A space where memory, perception and imagination coexist.
