Here's a controversial one for you all! Last week Riley decided to be a bit cheeky and park our 80s ford Capri 2.8i injection special next to a brand new Capr-E (see what I did there!) to snap this pic!

We are OPEN AS USUAL today, but a quick heads-up if you’re visiting us…

Due to the historic nature of our building, we don’t have air conditioning. It’s nice and cool in the museum this morning, but with temperatures set to hit 31°C later today, it will inevitably warm up as the afternoon goes on.

If you’re joining us, please make sure you stay hydrated and bring a bottle of water with you. Cold drinks, ice creams and refreshments are all available from the Filling Station Café too! 🍦🥤

The cars might be classic, but unfortunately the building’s cooling system is too! 😅😆

Talk about peak 1980s turbo power, denim jeans and hairspray!

Happy Father’s Day!! Someone's Dad is very lucky because parked up at Great British Car Journey today is a seriously rare MG Maestro Turbo!

Producing a headline-grabbing 150bhp when new, this hot hatch was one of the fastest front-wheel drive cars money could buy in Britain!

With its aggressive body kit, alloy wheels and unmistakable Turbo graphics, the Maestro Turbo perfectly captures the 80s!

Only a limited number were built, making this a very rare sight today.

A huge thank you to the Aston Martin Owners Club for visiting on Sunday! A beautiful display of the best of James Bond!

Our personal pick was the 1 of 1 red Volante prototype which the story goes, it was painted red because it was 1mph faster than the Ferrari of the era!

Quick reminder there is our evening car meet THIS FRIDAY, it's just £5 per car, and you can access the cafe and facilities. Because it's an evening meet the attraction is closed.

Join us this Friday from 4pm–8pm for our Great British Car Meet! Open to all makes and models, it’s a great opportunity to meet fellow enthusiasts, admire an incredible variety of vehicles, and enjoy a relaxed evening with people who share your passion for cars.

The museum will be open throughout the event, and the Filling Station Café will be serving a selection of snacks, drinks, and refreshments.

Whether you arrive in a classic, a modern favourite, or something in between, we’d love to welcome you along.
