Did you know the 18th-22nd May is Dementia Action Week?

We're taking action! We're pleased to say that the curator and the volunteers will be receiving Dementia Friend training in June 🩵

On Friday 22nd (10am-1pm) there will be an open morning at the Chantry Centre where you can find out about local support and information for people living with dementia and their families. Pop along if you have any questions.

🌹Another garden update. The superb rose has started blooming, the hollyhocks are already huge, the hops have erupted and have started to climb, we've spotted some mini strawberries, and the blue tit chicks are getting much louder! 🎵

⚡Breaking news⚡
The Curator was left stunned this week after a chance find in a bundle of documents dated to the mid-1800s. A small newspaper snippet shows an illustration of what appears to be our two-headed lamb. It turns out that it may not be a lamb at all but the so called 'Two-Headed Beastie', a mythical creature with strange powers!

The museum has formally submitted this new evidence to the British Anomalous Wildlife Registry so that the 'lamb' can be reclassified as a 'woolly cryptid'. This process is expected to take between six to eight weeks, or forever.
