Winterbourne is a hidden gem – home to beautiful antiques and over 6,000 plant species from around the world. Admire the show stopping crimson cloud💗🍃

This boldly colourful deciduous tree sits alongside the Rhododendron walk at Winterbourne. The bright crimson flowers are popular with bees and butterflies throughout spring, whilst the tiny red berries it produces in the autumn are great for birds.

Although these bright pink flowers have almost disappeared now, it’s still a beautiful spot to sit in the garden🌱

Lupins are currently the stars of the show in the Pink and Blue Border💗💙💜

These colour-themed borders were inspired by the designs of Gertrude Jekyll, who pioneered the use of harmonised colours in Arts and Crafts gardens🌿

Could this be Birmingham's best-kept secret?👀💜

If you visit Winterbourne, make sure to head through the small black gate at the base of the garden to discover Edgbaston Pool and Woodland. The woodland area is currently awash with dainty bluebells, and if you head across the bridge, you can enjoy stunning views across Edgbaston Pool. It's almost impossible to believe you're only a few minutes away from Birmingham city centre.

Visitors to Winterbourne House and Garden are kindly allowed access to Edgbaston Pool and Woodland courtesy of Edgbaston Golf Club.
