Kieran Crowder’s "N**e" is a striking oil‑on‑linen work built through meticulous layers of solid colour, golds, blues, reds, and purples, all placed with precision. From a distance, these layers merge into a single tonal field with incredible depth, a perfect example of how Crowder uses colour theory to transform simplicity into complexity. 🎨

His large‑scale pieces command attention, instantly elevating any space into a gallery‑worthy environment. Dynamic textures, vivid imagery, and intricate surface detail invite viewers to step closer and explore the nuances within each layer. Light and shadow shift across the work, giving it a sense of movement and presence, almost as if the painting breathes with the room around it. 🌞

14,000 nuts. 50,000 welds. One extraordinary transformation! 🐮👨‍🏭🔩

In this video, Shaun Gagg’s Nut Bull enters the molten zinc bath, the dramatic liquid‑galvanising stage that seals the sculpture with a protective coating, preparing it for a lifetime indoors or out! 🌳

Before this moment, every weld is ground smooth, the structure is strengthened from within, and the entire surface is shot‑blasted clean. Galvanising bonds zinc to every inch of steel, preventing rust and giving the bull its bold, industrial finish! 😍

A powerful fusion of engineering, heat, and contemporary metalwork! 👏

Meet Roy Meats, a long‑standing and much‑loved artist at Turner Fine Arts - a painter, sculptor, sign‑writer and natural storyteller whose work carries a world of character and charm! 📖

Roy’s artworks stand apart in our collection through the presence of Frank the Scarecrow, his whimsical, recurring figure who appears in scene after scene, each one inspired by a classic song. Frank is Roy’s way of weaving music, memory and narrative into every painting! 🎼🎨

Born in Nottingham in 1958, Roy’s lifelong dedication to art has taken him from the cobbled streets of his childhood to galleries across England and beyond!

In this video, we follow Roy’s remarkable journey, from early fascinations with nature and galleon ships, to painting pub signs for breweries, creating murals for hotels and care homes, and ultimately developing the bold, distinctive style that defines his work today 👏

From a lone figure on a beach beside a washed‑up bottle, a nod to Message in a Bottle by The Police, to scenes filled with adventure, humour and music, Frank brings Roy’s love of storytelling to life in the most imaginative way!

The Nut Jaguar by British metal sculptor, Shaun Gagg, constructed from an astonishing 7,227 individual nuts and brought together through over 17,000 meticulously executed welds, the sculpture embodies a level of craftsmanship rarely seen in contemporary metalwork.

Every weld contributes to the fluid musculature and lifelike presence of the jaguar, resulting in a piece that rewards close inspection from every angle.

The sculpture undergoes a rigorous finishing process that elevates both its durability and its aesthetic impact. After full assembly, the piece is liquid‑galvanized to protect the steel, then powder‑coated in an elegant silver‑grey tone that enhances the contours and surface detail. A final application of clear lacquer seals the work with a refined, polished finish, giving the jaguar a striking visual depth under natural or artificial light.

Collectors also have the opportunity to tailor the piece to their own environment. Both the sculpture and its base can be custom‑finished in a range of colours, allowing the work to be harmonised with interior schemes, architectural settings or personal stylistic preferences. This level of customisation ensures that each commissioned Jaguar becomes a truly individual statement piece.

A forthcoming video will offer a rare behind‑the‑scenes look at the entire creation process, from raw materials to the final lacquered form, highlighting the remarkable skill, patience and technical mastery required to bring this sculpture to life.
