We would like to give our appreciation to one of our Solar and Storage Heater installers, Three Phase Contractors Ltd

Three Phase have been a trusted installer for Cosy Homes over several years, helping to deliver government funded schemes such as Local Authority Delivery, Home Upgrade Grant and now the Warm Homes: Local Grant.

They have recently relocated to a new site, which includes a fantastic training facility. This change will allow Three Phase to provide high standard training to installers and apprentices.

It also means Three Phase can continue developing their business, while delivering excellent work on the Cosy Homes scheme.

This is great news for Lancashire. A progressive business like Three Phase provides local jobs, new green skills for future electricians, and supports residents to improve the energy efficiency of their home. Ultimately, helping to reduce fuel poverty and energy consumption.

1 in 4 homes in the UK (approximately 6.5 million households) suffer from damp and mould

This is a consequence of poor ventilation within the home and is a real danger to any occupier’s health. As we spend as much as 80% of our time at home it is critical to address the health issues associated with poor air flow.

Where to look for mould:
• Attics and roof spaces – Caused by poor air circulation or roof damage
• Bathroom – Caused by showering, leaks, inefficient extractor fans
• Kitchen – Caused by cooking, washing, inefficient extractor fans
• Laundry – Caused by washing machines, wet clothes and inefficient ventilation
• Basement – Caused by flooding, leaks and poor ventilation

Improving air quality within a property is a key element when reducing excess moisture in the air and removing as many of the 900 pollutants that offer a hazard to our respiratory system. Living in a cold home with damp and mould will inevitably affect our well-being as we spend such a large proportion of our lives within our homes.

How to keep mould away permanently:

• Maintain humidity below 60% with a dehumidifier

Today is Earth Day 🌍

A day for coming together as a community and taking actions towards a cleaner, greener and healthier home 🌎 Small, consistent changes can make a big difference. Whether its:

⭐ Thank you for the amazing and brilliant ASHP you have fitted to my fathers home. The installation was a delight with very competent installers who where very neat and tidy. You cannot tell that anything has been disturbed and everything was returned to normal.

The quality of your manufacturing, design and installation is a credit to your company.

The handover/commissioning by Neil was very easy to understand how the whole system operates and the design is a credit to him (I believe).

I will have no hesitations in recommending your company to anyone who is considering such an eco friendly system.
