A big thank you and shoutout is due to our amazing volunteer gardeners for helping transform the Centre!

We have had a broken lawnmower for some time now and have only just gotten it fixed. Now we’re able to tend to the grounds properly and get it ready for the summer months.

Thanks to all our visitors who have given us feedback and patience during this time.

Thank you again to our volunteers for helping us keep the Centre looking nice and presentable! We wouldn’t be here without you all!

☀️Thank you to Laura, Nicola, Clare M, Clare K, and Alex from Aviva Casualty Claims Team for spending the day with us at the museum and working with our Garden Volunteer, Ian and our Volunteer Co-ordinator, Richard.

They helped us put together a new storage box for the Wee Explorers to use in the Exploring Garden and swept and cleared up all of the moss and leaves in our car park.

We were so happy to welcome you all and truly appreciate all the help!

From all of us here at Shuttle Row, we’re wishing you a happy International Museum Day! 🎉

The theme this year is “Museums Uniting a Divided World” and we are so grateful to welcome those from near and far to our museum.

We are a small, independent museum and we greatly appreciate the support we recieve from all our patrons. From those who come to our museum to explore and learn, visit our grounds to walk in nature or enjoy a cup of coffee and a lunchtime special in our café.

To all the lion statue drawings we recieve on our feedback board, the school groups that choose to visit us, and those who regularly attend our weekly events!

All of this support helps us preserve of our historic Shuttle Row building and the grounds. It also allows to continue sharing the legacy of David Livingstone with all our visitors.

We aim to continue to provide many more opportunities for learning, cultural and community engagement across our Centre and Museum.

🔗If you’d like to come visit us, you can buy tickets on our website at the link in our bio or at reception.
