Our story

Northern Makes is an art gallery in Clarence Mill, Bollington Cheshire, next to the café overlooking the canal. It’s a stunning space filled with contemporary British artists and hand made product, offering some of the best work the north has to offer. New works from different artists and designers can be seen regularly as exhibitions change and new work arrives. We show an array of artists from established, award winning to new and up and coming. We display a range of different styles to suit the taste of our clientele whilst maintaining a superior standard for collectors and investors alike. We are a family run personable independent gallery and therefore the service we provide reflects this; offering a consultation service including bringing art work around to see it on the wall before you commit.
