Built by Merton Russell-Cotes as a gift for his wife, Annie, the house celebrates the couple's passion for art, travel, world cultures and natural history. They richly furnished the house and galleries, filling them with a remarkable collection of British art and sculpture and beautiful objects from their travels across the world. ✨ Come and enjoy the activities in our enchanting exhibition of Cicely Mary Barker's Flower Fairies! ✨

Join Elissa from the Russell-Cotes team to explore the activities on offer, from dressing up in fairy wings and floral headwear to discovering opportunities to draw, colour-in and compose poems inspired by Barker’s beautiful work. You can even make a wish on our magical fairy wish tree!

Don’t forget to pick up a house or garden trail to spot little fairy visitors hiding in cabinets around the historic house or outside amongst the flowers too. 🧚

This Volunteers’ Week, we want to say a huge thank you to our incredible Russell-Cotes volunteers 💙
