Blossom on Tour! 🌸🐂

Blossom the Bournville Bull was part of the Bulls in the City Wild in Art trail in 2025 for Birmingham Hospice. The design was based on things that community groups in our neighbourhoods loved about where they lived.

Maple Road is one of the oldest roads in Bournville, where the Heritage team can be found at Selly Manor Museum. The road is also home to Bournville Village Trust’s newest school, Maple House School, whose pupils loved the village green and trees that surrounded their school located in the historic Day Continuation School. You may even spot a small rubber duck hidden on the Bull inspired by the tiny ducks hidden around the school at Maple House.

Blossom the Bull is now on tour, travelling around the Bournville Village Trust neighbourhoods - keep a look out! Blossom is currently being enjoyed by the students at Maple House School as they learn more about Bournville and their local area.

Yesterday we welcomed visitors to the museum as part of Bournville National Garden Scheme

Thank you to our garden volunteers, Jane, Martin, Mary, and Annette, who have worked so hard on the Sensory Kitchen Garden - funded by Veolia - UK

Our gardener Jaego was around to answer questions about the garden, particularly the historic Tudor elements which make our garden really special.

Thank you also to Toby and Isaac for providing such a warm welcome to all of the 263 visitors. They were absolute troopers on what turned out to be a very busy day.
