Mayor Cllr Sheila Brooke and Deputy Mayor Cllr Ulli Arnold will be in Bovey Tracey Library between 2pm - 4pm on Tuesday October 20, happy to take and questions and receive comments good (and not so good) about life in and Heathfield. Pop along and say hello or message us if you can’t make it but have something to raise.
There will also be a chance to ask about next May’s Local Elections and information about how to stand in the ballot.

This sweet blue leather pouch was produced by Devon Leathercraft.

Marked inside are the words 'To right the Wrong' - E. Raser.

Devon Leathercrafts was formed after a former Vicarys' leathergoods worker set up a new company in 1922 in Albany Street and later to Kingsteignton Road. They turned their hand to the manufacture of parachute targets for the RAF during the war.

Their most popular products came in the form of small embossed leather purses and other types of 'holders', including this eraser case.

Come and see some of their products on display in the museum!
