Thank you to everyone who came and helped with our spring clean litter pick on Shipley Glen and down the Shipley Glen Tramway tram path yesterday. We collected about 6 bag fulls of rubbish, and spotted some wildlife along the way including 2 deer and a cormorant.

We'll be meeting again tomorrow (Wednesday 18th March) 1pm at Bracken Hall and heading along Lucy Hall Drive/West Lane and the side streets. It's forecast to be 18 degrees and sunny ☀️☀️☀️
Come and join us.

British wildlife will replace historical figures on the next series of Bank of England banknotes – and the public will get to help decide which species appear.

Here at Bracken Hall in the Bradford Pennine Gateway National Nature Reserve, our vote would go to the curlew, a much-loved and increasingly rare bird of our upland moors.

Which British species would you choose?

The public will help choose which animals and birds will appear on the Bank of England's new notes.
