Work starting to arrive for our Spring group exhibition by Northern Potters East -these ceramics are by Anna Brown of Tibpots Studio . Anna has been influenced by her travels in Europe and Scotland and nature. She makes a range of work including domestic ware, sculpture and vases, decorating these with texture, oxides and glazes .

These remind me of the weather we’ve been having recently! I think I’ll call these bowls stormy weather conditions… and swirling clouds . Did anyone drive to York from Bridlington yesterday? One minute you’re in thick fog and then once you’ve made it down Garrowby Hill it’s beautifully clear again…. Love this glaze , and layering it with an oribe glaze - please DM as they are for sale.

Came out not quite as expected but that’s the way of ceramics. I’ll call it my fossilised fish dish, not sure of the species though … tbh I’m pleased with how he’s turned out. Again he may be an old fossil but he’s happy to serve . He’s also got four feet to stand on -handmade- in stoneware and one of a kind. 24cm x 16 x 5 cm
