Brighouse Art Circle Brighouse Art Circle is a flourishing and friendly art society with varied programs. BRIGHOUSE ART CIRCLE is looking for new members.

It is an informal and friendly society with weekly meetings which include life models, costume models, demonstrations, workshops and exhibitions. Sometimes there are demonstrations combined with workshops. Meetings are every Thursday evening at 7.30pm, at Waring Green Community Center, Brighouse, HD6 2AX. There is plenty of parking nearby, also a bus stop outside. In summer months there are also T

uesday afternoon outdoor meetings. New members of all abilities are always welcome at any time of the year. If you have never painted, not painted for a while, or enjoy painting at home, why not join the BRIGHOUSE ART CIRCLE and make new friends while pursuing a satisfying hobby. Juniors under 18 - £10

Meetings charges are: Life models £4 Demonstrations £4, Costume models £3, workshops are charged at £2. There is also a 50p charge for tea/coffee and biscuits.

Happy New Year everyone!
Some bad, but probably not unexpected news: We have made the decision to cancel this evenings life model session due to the impending bad weather coming this evening!
Please stay safe and warm and cosy indoors!
Hopefully we will see you next week for a workshop on the theme of Winter Scenes! How fitting!

This evening we celebrated the Festive Season by creating a Carnival of Animals! Some very exciting and exotic creatures have come through Waring Green tonight!

Hello all!
This coming Thursday, 4th September, is our Annual Open and Enrolment Evening at 7pm. Please come along to this social occasion and bring guests with you, especially if you're new or haven't seen us for a while!
You will be able to enrol for the coming season, vote for the Best in Show, enjoy the free supper and take part in the raffle.

Please can you bring a painting to be hung in our exhibition for the prestigious award of 'Best in Show'. The winner will be presented with the annual trophy which will have your name engraved for all to see for years to come. We also have a free supper and ask if anyone can bring a food or drink contribution it would be appreciated.

Annual membership costs are £25 pre person. Husband and wife £35. Juniors under 18 £10.
