Kim Kardashian spotted at the Met Gala wearing a design by Allen Jones
is one of the most influential figures in British Pop Art, known for his provocative exploration of the female form and the intersection between art, design and desire.
His iconic furniture sculptures from the late 1960s blurring the line between object, body and function, sparked debate at the time and continue to shape conversations around fe**sh, fashion and power today.
That visual language has had a lasting cultural legacy, echoed across fashion and pop culture, from Kate Moss to the Sugababes, and more recently Bianca Censori.
As one of the judges for Emerging Artist Award 2026, Jones has brought that same bold, uncompromising perspective to his selection of this year’s shortlisted artists alongside Bruce Mclean and Rachel Howard.
The exhibition is now on view at The Long Gallery, Tilford and offers a glimpse into the next generation of artists working with their own distinctive voices.
