Dust off your denim overalls and dig out your mixtapes, because we are heading back to the decade of grunge, rave culture and Cool Britannia! 🎸
I may be middle aged but I'll never forget the 90s! Well, what I can remember of them anyway. It was the decade that Zoe Ball and Kate Moss were my 'ladette' heroes and my inspo for partying hard, working hard.
Now we can all relive that very special decade by taking a trip to "The 90s: Art and Fashion" exhibition which has officially opened at Tate Britain! Curated by the iconic Edward Enninful OBE, this blockbuster exhibition brings together over 100 era-defining works.
From the boundary-pushing art of Young British Artists (YBAs) like Damien Hirst and Tracey Emin, to the runway rebellion of Alexander McQueen and Vivienne Westwood, it is the ultimate chance to take a trip down memory lane or drink up a drop of nostalgia.
The exhibition is open daily from 10:00 to 18:00 and runs until 14 February 2027. Tickets start from £22, but you can still have a relatively cheap day out in the big smoke if you know where to go.
