Lovely monochrome hues with a hint of gold! 🌟🌟 He's been raiding the school DT dept off-cuts we got recently for these.....a lot of the off-cuts we got had one good side and one exposed side, so the front is super shiny and some of the back has some lovely sanded textures! 🥰🥰

There's a few things to say about this image that I just cobbled together....... Firstly and most importantly....WE SAW A KINGFISHER YESTERDAY!! 🥳🥳 It was in Pensford, which is just outside of Bristol. It flew out from under the little bridge we were on (watching ducklings!) And then we had binoculars with us so could actually watch it for a few moments as it sat on a branch! 🥰🥰 Secondly.....should we make hats?! Or just stick to brooches and necklaces?! 🤔😂 And Thirdly....here's what we looked like 9 years ago when we first got our little Bristol shop, and our lovely nephew Josh made us these t-shirts! (Thanks Andy for taking the original photo!) 🤩🤩

Here's a few more pics of the LARGE FLOWER EARRINGS! Do you like my make up?! 🩵💛🌸 These are in our online shop now! But...there's **only two pairs** because that's all that we found in the offcuts! 🌸🌸 Let me explain: These are made with some flower shapes that we found in amongst the off-cuts we got recently from a local school's DT dept. The flowers were stuck in the laser-cut sheets! 🌸🌸 We've managed to cut them out of the clear acrylic sheet using our trusty fretsaw (think they had melted in), and then we sanded the surfaces (hiding the scratches they had, and giving it a lovely texture!) 🌸🌸 Then we've paired them with a bubblegum pink centre (also from the offcuts. 🌸🌸 And finally we've strung them on to some sterling silver earring wires! 🌸🌸

Productive early evening heat gun action! Heated up all these acrylic 'ribbons' and then looped them through the vintage belt buckles to make what will become one-of-a-kind brooches! 🎀🎀 Just need to stick some pins on the back and then get them photographed - they'll be ready by the end of the month! 🎀🎀
