✨ Drawing Course Completed! ✨

Yesterday we celebrated the final session of our Drawing Course at Kent Talents Art Studio & Gallery. Our students explored one-point and two-point perspective and completed beautiful lavender field drawings in soft pastels.

Over the course, they learned:
🎨 Drawing and shading basic shapes
🎨 Animal drawing techniques
🎨 Face and body proportions
🎨 Architectural drawing and perspective
🎨 Working with a variety of materials, including charcoal, graphite pencils, fineliners, and soft pastels

It has been wonderful to watch everyone's confidence and skills grow from week to week. We received fantastic feedback from our students, and the best reward is seeing how proud they are of their progress.

Congratulations to everyone who completed the course! 🌿💜 We are delighted that our students enjoyed the experience and are already looking forward to moving on to a more advanced course.

I still can’t quite believe this! ❤️✨

Last week I was contacted by SMILER, who wanted to feature my painting of Rod Stewart on their page. Such a lovely and unexpected surprise!

I painted this portrait inspired by his incredible stage presence and expressive personality, so seeing it shared with his fans honestly made my week.

These little moments mean so much to me and remind me why I love being an artist. Thank you to everyone who supports my work and follows my creative journey 🎨💕

So much fun at yesterday’s drawing course session at Kent Talents Art Studio & Gallery! ❤️

We explored body proportions and then used those skills to create beautiful fashion design sketches. It was wonderful to see everyone developing their confidence, creativity, and individual style. From elegant dresses to expressive poses, every project had its own personality.

Well done everyone for your hard work and imagination. I’m so proud of what you created ✏️🎨

Today at our drawing course we learnt how to draw eyes, studied the proportions of the face and created a portrait of Michael Jackson in charcoal.
It’s amazing how much can be achieved in just a 2-hour session when everyone is focused, creative and enjoying the process. So proud of all the hard work today and the confidence everyone is building with drawing and shading techniques ✏️

Another wonderful evening at Kent Talents Poetry Club at Kent Talents Art Gallery. Once again we ran out of chairs! So many beautiful and different stories were shared, from Jamaica to Spain and of course Broadstairs.

It was lovely to see new faces and welcome new poets to our growing creative family. The atmosphere was warm and joyful. We sang songs, laughed, listened and shared unforgettable moments together.

Thank you to everyone who read their poetry, performed, supported others and made the evening so special. And thank you to our fantastic audience for your kindness and encouragement.

The next Poetry Club will take place on Sunday 19 July at 6.30pm. We look forward to another inspiring evening together.
