Bungay Museum is reopening on Saturday 28th March 10 - 1.
Come along and see our new displays and try and solve the museum mysteries...
We will be open on Thursdays and Saturdays between 10 and 1 throughout the spring and summer months.

Volunteers are needed to help steward the museum. Come and share your love of history and/or Bungay with our visitors. If you are interested please message us leaving your phone number and email address or call in to the museum.

Heritage Open Days.
Come and see the 19th century billiard room in the town hall on Broad Street. There is also a display of local building materials including one of the famous Cork Bricks.

Two early 20th century views of the Cherry Tree pub in Station Road (now Outney Road). This was the home of the Cherry Tree Angling Club and enjoyed a good passing trade from the railway.

Does anybody remember seeing one of these in a local pub or shop? This is the Bungay dartboard. It was designed by a local as a novelty, combining snooker and darts. It was expected to be a popular success but sadly didn't excite very much interest and never went into mass production.
