Pocock's the artmonger Work by Royal Academicians and the Norwich School sit alongside contemporary Norfolk painters, sculp This little gem of a gallery is well worth a visit.

The ethos of Pocock's the artmonger is to stock good quality pictures of all kinds at prices to suit every pocket starting at just £10. Although focusing on original 18th, 19th and early 20th century watercolours and drawings, you are as likely to find oils, original prints, recent work by local artist or a small piece of sculpture. This is a real treasure trove of pictures hung floor to ceiling and dozens unframed in racks too.

All welcome and suitable for all levels from beginners, to improvers, (although some experience with mixing and using paint will help). 18 years plus. Enjoy a day learning to use acrylic paints and mixed media inspired by the beautiful North Norfolk coast. With an emphasis on painting techniques, demonstrations and one-to-one tuition, this workshop will help you to free up your creativity through mark making, mixed media, colour mixing and fun!

Today marks 15 years since I turned the key in the lock and the sign to Open at Pocock’s The Artmonger Burnham Market! I still remember the fear of that moment!!
Originally solely selling paintings and drawings, over the years it’s evolved to now sell greetings cards and wrapping paper, stationery and art materials too.
Diversification has been the key to survival.
It has been a privilege to support so many artists and artisans over the years and use local and British companies.
Thanks to all my loyal customers and friends who’ve been with me on this exciting and sometimes challenging journey.
